The Boynton Beach Police Department offers Special Details for events, construction projects, and other situations that require a dedicated law enforcement presence. These services allow organizations, businesses, and individuals to hire off-duty BBPD officers to assist with traffic control, safety, security, or other operational needs.

Special detail requests must be submitted in advance and include information about the location, date, time, and type of service required. Approved requests are staffed by sworn BBPD officers working in an off-duty capacity.

Special details help ensure public safety and efficient traffic management during events or projects while allowing organizers to coordinate directly with the police department for professional law enforcement support.

Event/Detail Information

Please complete the Special Detail Request Form and provide as much basic information as possible about your event or request, including the location, date, time, and contact information. Providing accurate and complete details will help us review your request and determine the appropriate staffing and resources needed.  Once your request has been submitted, a member of the department will review the information and contact you to discuss the request in greater detail, confirm availability, and address any additional requirements.  Please note that all special details are subject to approval and officer availability. Fees apply to all approved special details in accordance with department policies.
