The Boynton Beach Police Department’s Homeless Outreach Team is dedicated to addressing homelessness through a balanced approach of compassion, public safety, and community support. The team works to ensure that all individuals—regardless of housing status—are treated with dignity while also maintaining the safety, cleanliness, and well-being of the community.
A key focus of the Homeless Outreach Team is building trust, reducing barriers to care, and linking individuals with available community-based assistance programs through established outreach partnerships.
Resource Coordination
When interacting with individuals in need, officers prioritize referrals to local support services and outreach providers. The team works closely with community partners to help connect individuals with shelter, housing assistance, and other supportive resources.
