The Boynton Beach Police Athletic League (PAL) is a community-based initiative focused on building positive relationships between youth and law enforcement through sports, mentorship, and educational opportunities. PAL creates a safe, supportive environment where young people can participate in structured activities that encourage teamwork, leadership, discipline, and personal growth.
The program offers a variety of free recreational and athletic opportunities, including:
- Basketball
- Boxing
- Girls Flag Football
- And more youth-focused programs throughout the year
These programs are led by dedicated police officers, coaches, and community volunteers who are committed to mentoring local youth and serving as positive role models.
Through athletics and engagement, PAL helps guide young people toward making positive life choices while strengthening trust between the police department and the community. The program is centered on empowering youth, promoting healthy lifestyles, and creating pathways for success both on and off the field.
The Boynton Beach Police Department Police Athletic League, in partnership with Lights Out Boxing and Fitness, offers a free boxing program for local youth, ages 8 to 18. Children will learn boxing basics, discipline, and teamwork, providing growth both inside and outside the ring. No experience is needed, and all equipment is provided. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
