The Boynton Beach Police Department is excited to bring back its annual Cookout with the Cops, a free, family-friendly event that brings neighbors and officers together for an afternoon of connection and fun.
Hosted at Sara Sims Park, this popular community gathering features something for everyone—enjoy free hamburgers and hot dogs, live music, field games with officers, bounce houses, face painting, and a Police Athletic League basketball tournament.
A highlight of the event is the friendly Grill Master Competition, where community members showcase their skills for a chance to win top honors. The public taste-testing contest will take place later in the day, with one winner taking home a grand prize grill, generously sponsored by Lowe's.
This event reflects BBPD’s continued commitment to building strong relationships with the community in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
