The Boynton Beach Police Athletic League is a program designed to encourage the athletic and civic development of the youth in our community. Learning the value teamwork and skills such as leadership, determination, and goal setting, these youth are exposed to invaluable social influences. The program also teaches children, who often only see police officers only during traumatic times in their lives, that police officers have a genuine concern for their well-being. Our officers are very proud of the special influence that they have had over the years as hundreds of local youth have participated and benefited from this valuable program. The P.A.L. program has helped in the development of many outstanding athletes, and more importantly, socially responsible citizens in our community. If you have any questions about the P.A.L. program or would like to contribute time or resources to this effort to mentor youth in Boynton Beach, please click here. |
