Effective immediately, the BBPD will no longer offer to the public the service of fingerprinting or conducting a background check.

A background check may be obtained online through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement,, or in person at the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, 3228 Gun Club Road, WPB, FL 33406. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Registration underway for Teen Police Academy Summer Camp!

The Boynton Beach Police Department lobby, located at 100 E. Boynton Beach Blvd., is now open 24 hours, 7 days a week. Copies of police reports and other requests requiring payment will only be available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday. This is because payments must be made in City Hall, which is closed Friday through Sunday.
