The Crime Scene Unit is responsible for collecting evidence
ranging from latent fingerprints to forensic specimens.
The Crime Scene Unit works hand-in-hand with the
Investigative Services,
Traffic Homicide Investigators, and
the Property and Evidence Unit.
We have four crime scene technicians assigned full time to the
unit. They are trained in crime scene management, investigative
techniques, photography, diagramming, and many other specialized
tasks that make them a valuable asset to the investigative team.
