17-06929 1739hrs Burglary to Residence Quantum Lakes Dr
Contact was made with victim who stated between the hours of 1300 and 1645 today unknown suspect(s) entered her apartment and took things from within. The victim advised that one of her firearms was taken (Glock 43 serial number BAFF168), along with other various items. The firearm was entered into FCIC/NCIC as stolen.

BBPD hosts Town Hall Meeting

The Boynton Beach Police Department has set the date for its first Town Hall Meeting of the year.
The Feb. 23 meeting at Seagate of Gulfstream is an opportunity for residents to speak directly with Chief Jeffrey S. Katz and police officers who patrol the area. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in the clubhouse at 2020 S. Federal Highway.

Boynton Briefing - Feb. 2, 2017

17-005988 1610 hours Burglary Residence 1501 SW 16th Street.
Victim reported unknown suspects entered her residence by forcing open a hurricane shutter and breaking a window on the back patio. The suspects removed an Ipad, laptop, jewelry and miscellaneous currency. The burglary was believed to have taken place between 1230 and 1600 hours.

Officers responded to a report of an unconscious person and located male on the floor in the bathroom. He was unresponsive. BBFR provided life saving measures to him and he regained consciousness. He was transported to Bethesda Hospital East for further treatment.
